3) How high should my dumpster be?
All dumpsters should be level loaded. You can't load the dumpster higher than the sides. You can't build the sides of the dumpster with wood, etc. to accommodate more material. This is extremely dangerous. Our delivery crews may either offload the material or leave the dumpster at the site until you take it off.
4) What can be thrown in the dumpster

We take most kinds of debris, including electronics, furniture, drywall and tile. We also accept concrete, asphalt brick, dirt, and other heavy debris. Yard waste is collected in the city on a seasonal basis by the Manchester Department of Public Works. Residents can also drop off their yard waste at the Manchester Solid Waste Drop-Off Facility.
Manchester is located on the Merrimac River and has a population of around 110,000 residents. It has been voted by Kiplinger as the second most tax-friendly city in America. And CNN Money rated Manchester the number 1 city for small businesses. There are many cultural landmarks including the Palace Theater and the New Hampshire Institute of Art. The University of New Hampshire at Manchester and Saint Anselm College are 2 of the 10 colleges in the city. Manchester is the home of the “Segway.”
Option 1 – "I'll just pack up the Explorer, and make a few stops to the dump" – Who wants to spend a weekend unloading stuff in their car to go to the dump only to discover it won't (good luck finding somewhere that will). Then you realize you spent a lot of gas and money on dumping fees. That is not a good choice.
Option 2 -- "Well, I guess, I'll hire a Uhaul to do it myself", - After you rent the Uhaul, you get the insurance. Next, there's the dump minimum. Some dumps won't take a Uhaul with all its contents. If you don’t have that minimum, you may have to pay an extra fee for trash you don’t have. Not a good choice. Click HERE to see our full service junk hauling service.
Dump-It is proud to offer the newest addition to our rental fleet, temporary open-top dumpsters! These dumpsters are perfect for construction or remodeling sites where a lot of debris needs to be quickly and easily disposed of. They're also great for special events when you need a place to put all the extra trash. All the temporary open-top dumpsters are approximately eight feet wide. The delivery truck will need to maneuver a little bit to unload the dumpster. If you have tight quarters, we recommend at least 12 feet wide or more to be on the safe side. Dumpsters vary in length from 12 feet long to 22 feet long. Most will fit in an average parking area. Give us a call today!

We understand that sometimes it's necessary to load dumpsters higher than the sides in order to accommodate more material. However, this is very unsafe and our delivery personnel may offload the material on-site and or leave the dumpster on-site until you offload it to make sure everyone is safe. Please be sure to only level load your dumpster! Thank you for your understanding!

Manchester is a city in Hillsborough County in southern New Hampshire, United States. It is the most populous city in northern New England (the states of Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont). As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 115,644.[3]
Manchester is, along with Nashua, one of two seats of New Hampshire's most populous county, Hillsborough County. Manchester lies near the northern end of the Northeast megalopolis and straddles the banks of the Merrimack River. It was first named by the merchant and inventor Samuel Blodgett, namesake of Samuel Blodget Park and Blodget Street in the city's North End. His vision was to create a great industrial center similar to that of the original Manchester in England, which was the world's first industrialized city.[4]
Manchester often appears favorably in lists ranking the affordability and livability of U.S. cities, placing particularly high in small business climate,[5][6] affordability,[7][8] upward mobility,[9] and education level
Manchester is in south-central New Hampshire, 18 miles (29 km) south of Concord, the state capital, and the same distance north of Nashua, the second-largest city in the state. Manchester is 51 miles (82 km) north-northwest of Boston, the largest city in New England.
The Manchester Planning Board, in its 2010 Master Plan, defines 25 neighborhoods within the city. LivableMHT has drawn maps of the neighborhoods and neighborhood village centers as defined by the city.[19] Recognition of particular neighborhoods varies, with some having neighborhood associations, but none have any legal or political authority.
The major neighborhoods, historically, include Amoskeag, Rimmon Heights, Notre Dame/McGregorville and Piscataquog/Granite Square, also known as "Piscat", on the West Side; the North End, Janeville/Corey Square, Hallsville and Bakersville on the East Side; and Youngsville and Goffes Falls on the periphery of the city.[20]
In 2007, the city began a Neighborhood Initiatives program to "insure that our neighborhoods are vibrant, livable areas since these are the portions of the city where most of the residents spend their time living, playing, shopping and going to school."[21] The purpose of this initiative is to foster vibrancy and redevelopment in the neighborhoods, and to restore the sense of neighborhood communities that had been overlooked in the city for some time. The city began the program with street-scape and infrastructure improvements in the Rimmon Heights neighborhood of the West Side, which has spurred growth and investment in and by the community.[22] Despite the success of the program in Rimmon Heights, it was unclear in recent years how the city planned to implement similar programs throughout the city. The city announced plans for extending the Neighborhood Initiatives program to the Hollow neighborhood in February 2012.
