You can swim with Panama City's wild bottle-nose dolphins on your trip in super-fast boats that are specially built for visiting and finding them. Blue Dolphin Tours is smaller than larger boats, which can carry as many as 150 people. We only take 6 passengers on certain boats and 7-15 on others boats. Children of all ages are welcome to join us. You can be in the water quickly with your snorkel gear on without any splashing or disruptions, which can often scare the dolphins away. Your Captain will teach you how to interact with dolphins. For example, it is better to swim parallel to them than to reach out and touch them. Swim with Dolphins – We will put you in the water prior to the dolphins arrive. This will make it more likely that the dolphins swim to us rather than to us. You can see wildlife such as birds of prey and pelicans as well as underwater creatures, herons, and other bird species. Shells and sand dollars can be found in the Shell Island area. Explore St. Andrews Bay or the Gulf of Mexico by snorkeling grass flats.

In addition to observing dolphins, our dolphin and island tours visit beautiful Shell Island. Here we can explore the beach, hunt for shells, wade, swim, and, if conditions allow, snorkel in the crystal clear protected waters and observe a wide variety of marine life.

Our Carolina Skiffs (21-foot) and 23-foot Carolina Skiffs (23-foot) are comfortable, stable and safe for dolphin and island tours. These boats feature a central console design to maximize space and allow easy movement around the boat. A fully cushioned forward deck allows for observation (and lounging), and comfortable seats for the whole group. Large bimini tops provide shade and ice chest space.
