If the conditions permit, guests can jump in the water with dolphins nearby if they are allowed. Safety is our top priority. Your captain will show you how to safely snorkel among marine mammals.
In the course of your excursion, you will visit Panama City Pass and explore the area where St. Andrews Bay and the Gulf of Mexico converge. Here, there are lots of dolphins, and what’s more, we’ll guide you on how to interact with them in the water.
Maximum group size is 6 people per boat. Maximum number of 12 guests. We can accommodate up to 6 people per boat, but we can also make arrangements with local partners if you have a larger group.
All snorkeling is waiting for you on the boat AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. For your refreshments, the onboard cooler will have Capri Suns and/or complimentary bottled water. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages, snacks and BYOB.

During the second leg of your excursion, you’ll come across the best of what St Andrews Bay has to offer in terms of wildlife. These include birds like herons, ospreys, and pelicans, underwater marine life like hermit crabs, sea urchins, sea horses, blue crabs, and starfish, plus all the animal life on Shell Island. Explore Shell Island for sand dollars and shells. You can also go snorkeling on grass flats and explore St. Andrews Bay along the Gulf of Mexico.
There are many birds that can be seen out of water. They include raptors like bald Eagles and Ospreys as well as shorebirds like great Blue Herons and Egrets. Seabirds include magnificent frigatebirds (terns) and terns. There are also deer sometimes found on the island.
At Gabby's Dolphin Tours PCB, our captains are highly trained and experienced in spotting, observing, and interpreting dolphin’s behavior and movements. We place the boat at a safe distance and instruct you when to get in the water to get a closer look and mingle with them.
