What should I do if my furnace quits in the middle of the night?

For a no-heat event in freezing weather, call for 24/7 emergency service, since a home that loses heat during a hard freeze risks frozen and burst pipes. If you smell gas, leave the home and contact the gas utility first. One Hour Ogden dispatches around the clock and confirms the furnace is safe before restoring heat. Call (801) 829-7633.

Is a no-heat night really an emergency in Ogden?

It can be. Beyond the discomfort, a home that loses heat during a Northern Utah freeze can develop frozen and burst pipes, turning a heating problem into water damage. Homes with infants, elderly residents, or anyone at medical risk from the cold also warrant urgent help. Those situations justify emergency service rather than a next-day appointment.

Will I be overcharged for an after-hours repair?

Not with upfront pricing. One Hour Ogden presents the repair options and cost through its StraightForward Pricing before any work begins, with no hidden fees added for the hour. You approve the number knowing what the repair involves, so an emergency call is handled honestly rather than inflated for the middle of the night.
