Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. We have 5 identical boats for larger groups, up to 30 persons limited to 6 per boat. We also have a new Large Family Dolphin for up to 15 passengers. —

We have five boats with identical designs for larger groups. The new Large Family Dolphin can accommodate up to 15 guests.

Manatees are also often seen in the water. You may be allowed to swim near manatees if the conditions are right, but we always observe them passively and avoid getting close.

We will take you as close to dolphins and ensure your safety as well as their safety. The dolphins will decide how close or far they want to be able to interact with them. We practice passive observation, which simply means we let the dolphins approach us. Our dolphins in St. Andrews Bay can be extremely playful and interactive. Many of our guests have memorable encounters with them.

A wide range of birds can be found out on the water. This includes raptors such ospreys and bald eagles, as well as shorebirds such great blue herons. And seabirds such stunning frigatebirds. You may also see deer at the island.

Species we frequently see include a variety of starfish, sand dollars, bay scallops, whelks, conchs up to 21” long, seahorses, urchins, and hermit crabs and other crab species. These animals can be brought to the surface, handled carefully, and photographed. We bring large containers so that even non-snorkelers can observe them up close before they’re released back into the bay. Shells found without living creatures can be taken home.

We do need to note that dolphins are wild animals. Although we know all the places they’re likely to be, very rarely the dolphins evade us.
