Our guests can explore St. Andrew Bay comfortably, have a good conversation with their tour captain and see the dolphins up close. Your captain will bring the tour boat as close as possible to the dolphins, while being respectful and cautious to avoid causing them stress.

St. Andrew Bay hosts one of world's largest resident populations (the iconic gray dolphins) of bottlenose dolphins. This is the area most people are most familiar with from movies, television and marine parks. Although the dolphins of St. Andrew Bay may be wild animals, they are used the human presence. Boaters are often found among a group that is swimming, feeding, or playing with dolphins.

St. Andrew Bay dolphins live in wild environments. This makes it difficult to know when is the best time for them to be seen. The weather conditions, tide cycles, tides and availability, among other factors, can affect dolphin behavior. There are good chances of seeing dolphins when the sun is out, and the waters are calm and clear. Feeding activities will usually be observed on an outgoing wave. Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours is the best dolphin tour operator. It is usually available on the water most days of the year.
Jet ski tours also have another cool feature: dolphins are curious about jet ski wakes, which is a great bonus.
All snorkeling trips include complete snorkeling gear. There are many places to snorkel that we visit regularly. Our snorkeling destinations change daily. It is always changing the conditions at our local snorkeling locations. We aim to take you snorkeling sites that offer the most clear and calm conditions on the day. We often snorkel artificial reefs, sandbars, seagrass beds and sandbars. We will travel a lot to find the best spots in the region.
You can choose to book a private charter and have the boat your way for 2 - 6 guests or book a guided tour. On public tours, multiple guests can be seated on the same boat. All our tours are limited to six guests. You can have more people on our tours by booking multiple boats.
If the weather is safe and clear, you may have the opportunity to swim and snorkel among dolphins. This means that we might get to go into the water near the dolphins. It does not necessarily mean that they will allow you to touch them. They are wild dolphins, and have their own mind. Sometimes they will come within 3 feet of you. Other times they will swim away and you won't be able to see them while in the water. We do not feed, harass or harass dolphins. We don't guarantee that you will swim with dolphins. We believe that promising swimming with dolphins is not ethical. We welcome wild dolphins into our lives on their terms. All boat tours are conducted in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act. We won't swim with dolphins that are swimming in dangerous areas. This is entirely up to the captain.
Dolphins are most active between 10 and noon and 2 and 4 pm. To spot dolphins quickly, a pair of binoculars or telephoto lenses can prove to be very useful.
Shell Island is not a concession island. The sun, sand and water can make people hungry and thirsty. You can also bring your usual beach equipment, such as towels, sunscreen, and hats. You can bring your own beach chairs, floats and fishing rods. Be sure to leave enough space on the boat for people!
Remember that Shell Key currently has no toilets or food and water.
