They contain the ground, neutral, or hot wires. If you are choosing a Romex Cable, ensure it is NM–B. You can call an electrician to repair any wires that are in need of repair.

If your electrical panel is a hundred-amp panel, it's probably close to capacity. This is because the home's built-in safety buffer is using up the bulk of the panel's current capacity. Also, you're probably using more appliances than it was designed to handle. Upgrading to a 200-amp panel will provide your electrical system with a little extra room to breathe. Regardless of the reason, you should definitely upgrade your panel to ensure that it will be safe for you and your appliances.

Two 120-volt service wires carry electricity to your home. Your electric service enters your house through two 120-volt service wires. Most 120-volt circuits draw power from one wire, while 240-volt circuits draw energy from both. Both wires are neutral, which means that if one fails to draw power, the other will. Energy is delivered to your home either through the roof masthead or through underground conduit. Your home's electric meter is installed where the electricity enters. It is used to monitor how much energy your home is using.
