Before you hire a contractor, ask to see a contract that outlines the scope of the work and the price. Ask whether the electrical contractor will clean up after themselves on a daily basis or only at the end of the project. This is a vital question because a sub-par electrician may not have a thorough understanding of how to clean up after themselves properly.
