To demonstrate that the VoortmanV808 is the fastest thermal cutting machine on the market, we created a demo product. You can see the VoortmanV808 in action in the video below. Below is a list of 12 actions that can be performed by the same machine.

The V808 is equipped with an agile, 8-axis cutting robot that’s able to reach and process the full maximum width of profiles within the machine’s range. Due to the fact Voortman has added two extra axes on top of the six axes of the Panasonic robot itself, the machine has a very wide reach and can place itself underneath the raw material. Voortman programs the robot in a way that it always maneuvers in the most stable position, which also improves cutting quality.

Each machine comes with our VACAM control software. The machines all have the same look and feel, which greatly reduces the learning curve. VACAM's open platform allows production data to be easily exchanged with third-party ERP and MRP software. This gives you an up-to date view of the status of your projects. VACAM instantly displays a graphical representation of your workflows, processes, and analyzes imported products. The software will automatically suggest the best solution to any problem. The software will suggest the best solution for your problem, reducing production interruptions and increasing system efficiency.

Future Expansion? The Voortman Vo808 can be used as a foundation to support future growth. Voortman machines (including the V808) all run the same standard VACAM management software. It means that all machines can speak the same "language". If you require more capacity, the V808 will be able to work in conjunction with other Voortman machines, creating a fully automated integrated production system known as Multi System Integration.

Our robotic coping machines can cut seismic design connections (like "dog bone" and "slotted web"), rat holes and copes at the beginning and end of products, holes in any size or shape, block outs, weld preparations and bevels.

Just one push of the button will get you started. Once you have imported industry-standard DSTV (or DSTV+) files, your operator can focus on loading and unloading. The machines run at a high production rate and require no manual intervention.

Profiles

FAST PROFILE MEASURINGThe Voortman V808 robotic thermal cutting machine is equipped with the fast, accurate and versatile Panasonic TL-1800G3 coping robot. The torch nozzle of the robot is fitted with a measuring sensor to measure the exact profile dimensions. The difference between actual measured profile dimensions and theoretical dimensions are compensated during the cutting process to ensure the most accurate result possible. To save time, the coping robot only measures the sides of the profile that will actually be processed.

We are confident that our Robotic coping machine and profiling machine have passed all the critical fabrication tests. This includes hardness, surface texture quality, beam flange welding access hole quality and bolt hole sizing. We have the Voortman CNC coping/profiler machine in stock. It has exceptional capabilities and is made to an exceptionally high standard.

All it takes is one button to start your production. After importing industry-standard DSTV or DSTV+ files into our VACAM Software's processing list, your operator is free to focus on loading the system and unloading it. To keep up with production speeds, no manual intervention is required.

Bend-Tech Dragon A400 CNC Tube Cutting, Engraving, and Marking Machine is a commercial grade CNC machine. Dragon A400, combined with the most powerful CAD/CAM program in the world will accomplish the job quickly and accurately.

Based on the production on hand, customer preferences and the available machinery in the MSI-line, VACAM automatically decides the optimal route to reach the highest efficiency. MSI designates the end of transporting raw profiles and semi-finished products from machine to machine. MSI stands for one integrated production system. You can track and monitor every profile, product and future planning in real time by using VACAM, Voortman’s proprietary CNC control software installed on every machine.

Automated marking can save time and money in your workshop assembly area. The V808 can mark all four sides and even the underside of the profile. While marking only three sides is possible, employees need to manually measure the fourth side. Voortman's V808 can handle all sides. This will allow you to save time and money in the assembly area.

In order to integrate the machine with a fully automated MSI beamline, full-automatic profile transportation is available. Our/The VACAM Software controls the sensored liftables and drag-dogs which transport profiles onto and out of the outfeed roll conveyor. Select products will be automatically produced from the trading lengths. Cross-transports allow the machine's ability to handle multiple profiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

The strength tolerances of the C-beam are lower than those of the I-beam. This results in lighter components. Continue reading if you have never used C-beam profiles. Let us walk you through the basics to help you decide if it is right for you.

To increase your beam's bending capability, you will need to increase the second moment (I) if your beam design is controlled by yielding in bend (not lateral-torsional or plate buckling). This is usually done by attaching additional plates to your beam, often onto the flanges.

The blade is very thin so it works well with the pull. The steel frame's spring tension keeps the blade in place. This rigidity allows for the blade to move on both the upward and downward strokes, but it is only when the blade actually cuts that the blade cuts.

The H beam's cross section is more robust than that of the I beam. This means it can support a heavier load. The cross section of the H beam, on the other hand, can only bear direct load and tensile. However, it cannot resist twisting due to its narrow cross section. It can only bear force in one direction.

Douglas fir is perhaps the strongest of all wood beams. Although there may be a stronger wood, I don't know of any. Lumber mills today make beams in the same way as plywood. To make extremely strong structural engineered timbers, they use layers of solid wood that have been glued together.
