Want to experience the dolphin adventure that you've always dreamed of? Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC offers guided dolphin tours and private charters. Our guide will take you on a tour of the beaches and shell islands. We look forwards to meeting you.
For a relaxing 25-minute cruise to Shell Island, our snorkel area, we will leave Historic Grand Lagoon. Keep an eye out for dolphins, sea creatures and other marine life as you travel. We will either anchor along the Gulf of Mexico, Shell Island, or both. Here you can snorkel for shells, learn more about the local marine life, and just relax while taking in the sun. To hunt for shells, you can also swim through the shallow waters to Shell Island. After spending some time on Shell Island, the trip will conclude with a ride to the Gulf of Mexico where we can search for dolphins as well as sight-see.
Dolphins are a loosely connected group of aquatic mammals which live around the world. The most common dolphin found in Florida is called the bottlenose. Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC has made the grey dolphin famous. Americans have known for many years that dolphins can perform tricks on fish at several marine attractions in the United States. Since then, more protections have been placed around wild dolphins.
Shell Island, St Andrews Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico offer exciting and unique explorations. Snorkeling on the island's grass flats or shallows is fun for all ages. We offer private and small group tours to provide a unique wildlife adventure. This tour includes everything! We have been doing this for over thirty years and are experts at family fun.
Manatees are also often seen in the water. You may be allowed to swim near manatees if the conditions are right, but we always observe them passively and avoid getting close.
We will take you as close to dolphins and ensure your safety as well as their safety. The dolphins will decide how close or far they want to be able to interact with them. We practice passive observation, which simply means we let the dolphins approach us. Our dolphins in St. Andrews Bay can be extremely playful and interactive. Many of our guests have memorable encounters with them.
Our guides have been observing dolphins for many years and are now experts at locating and safely instructing visitors on how to enter water to see them in their natural habitat. Additionally, your captain will go snorkeling with you to show starfish, pufferfishes welch conschs, sanddollars, and many other types of sea animals.
