You can also see dolphins on our island and dolphin tours. This is where you can swim, fish, dive, search for shells and, if the conditions permit, snorkel in the protected waters to see a wide range of marine life.
Panama City dolphin tours and Shell Island trips with Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC are small, private charters, for a maximum of 12 guests (no more than 6 per boat). This not only allows for a much more intimate and interactive experience but also a safer trip since you won’t be sharing the boat with anyone outside your party.
We’ll put you in the water before the dolphins arrive. That way, the dolphins are more likely to come to us rather than swim away. Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. We have 5 identical boats for larger groups, up to 30 persons limited to 6 per boat. We also have a new Large Family Dolphin for up to 15 passengers.
Shell Island, St Andrews Bay & The Gulf of Mexico are fun and exciting places to explore. Snorkeling in the grass flats and shallows on the island is a great activity for the whole family. You can choose from either a small group or a personal tour for a custom wildlife adventure. This tour has everything! We are family fun experts and have been doing so for more than 30 year.
Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC specializes in private charters and boat tours. We offer guided snorkeling and swimming along with wild dolphins at beautiful Panama City Beach. Participation determines when cruises depart each day. Due to low demand in the Winter and Fall, Sundays and Mondays are usually closed. However, the booking calendar will show all days that have been closed. The departure times of flights change according to the seasons, so make sure you check the calendar regularly for any changes.

On your trip with super-fast boats, you will be able to swim with Panama City’s resident pod wild bottlenose dolphins. We are situated in Panama City Beach, near Seaside Beach Rosemary Beach Santa Rosa Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Destin, Mexico Beach and Cape San Blas.
Dolphins can be seen most often at dawn between 10 am and noon and 2 pm until dusk. It is worth investing in a pair binoculars or great telephoto lenses to help you spot dolphins.
Tail slapping - Dolphins simply slap their heads against the water to stun them with the shockwave. Kerplunking, which is cool and named after its sounds, is another cool behaviour.
The Gulf of Mexico's marine mammals are comprised of dolphins, whales, sea lions, and one coastal sirenian species, the West Indianmanatee (Trichechus menatus). Sea lions and fur seals are not found here, nor are sea-going orter otters.
