A POWERFUL MEASURING and CLAMPING SYSTEMThe Voortman 808 has a powerful roller-feed measuring and clamping system. The fully automated measuring roller feed system saves time and money by not requiring a pusher or gripper before loading the next piece. This measuring and clamping system is more flexible because the maximum weight it can position is 15.000 kg/33.000 pounds.

Voortman V808 does not require a clean cut for every product in a nesting. This reduces scrap to a minimum and saves time. The last cut of a product will also be the first cut for the next product. To reduce costs, the V808 can either import DSTV+ files from VACAM or use VACAM’s beam nesting module. This allows for continuous nestings to get the most out of each stock length.

Voortman’s Xtensive Hole Performance optimizes inner contours and holes with high-definition Plasma cutting. It produces laser-like results. Voortman optimized Hypertherm(r), True Hole (tm) for V808 movements to achieve this standard. Xtensive Hole performance is used on small to medium slot holes and square inner contours.

After installing a machine or production line, Voortman installs a net of safety measures. These safety measures comprise of light curtains, emergency cords and emergency stop buttons.
