Beam Coping Machine Head

The Voortman CNC Beam Coper has been specifically designed for fabricators, general job shops, and other workers who need to notch or cope with all types of steel profiles. Take a look at the following questions to determine if this machine suits your needs.

WTD is back! Visitors can now visit our members' large showrooms for five days and see the most current technology. A single event or other show offers so many woodworking tools and live demonstrations at each location.

It is an amazingly economical 5-axis CNC robotic oxy-fuel cutting beam coper that will enable you to make any type of cut on beams, channels, angels, plates, and rectangular tubes. Literally anything that you can draw, can be cut by this superbly versatile profile cutting machine. Not only does it cope, but it cuts to length too!

Voortman beam coping machines are equipped with rigid, long-lasting torch tips that allow for precise positioning within flanges. The closed loop system also allows for the torch head's release in the case of an unanticipated obstruction such as slag.

Your detailer then will provide you with a DWG / LTP / PDF file that can be used to print or plot your drawings. He will also provide the NC1 and NC2 files that you can directly import into your machine. Voortman comes standard with the DSTV - Import function.

Because we are particular about making fabrication tasks seamless and efficient, we have here this Robotic coping and profiling beam that is designed to process angle bars, channels, square tubes, but als pipes, T Bars, plates and bulbs as well. With any of our Coping and profiling Robot, the possibilities of functions on your profiles/pipe cuts are truly limitless as it is an efficient tooling system unmatched in terms of the quality of its outputs. These outputs can be H, I and T beams, U and L channels respectively.

Three torches are usually used for multiple torch or triple torch CNC beam-coping machines. Each torch is dedicated to a specific flange or web. The 3-tower machine has a shorter positioning time than the single torch one, but the single torch machine can still do more cuts than existing triple torch machines because of the 5-axis movement in the cutting head. Additionally, triple torch machines tend to be 3-4x more expensive than single torch CNC beam cutter coping machines.

We care about making fabrication tasks efficient and seamless. Our Robotic coping/profile beam can be used to cut angles, channels, square tubes as well as pipes, T Bars and plates. Because it is an efficient tooling platform, our Coping/Profiling Robot offers a multitude of functions for your profiles/pipe cuts. These outputs are H, I andT beams as well as U and/or L channels.

Time

Importing files directly to your steel detailing program is preferable. It eliminates unnecessary steps and can also prevent any incorrect data capture. Two distinct groups exist in this respect.

"..the Liberator's time saved for cutting beams, we can also add the time it takes to fit 2 pieces together perfectly so that no additional trimming or extra work is required. We do not need to fill gaps in welding. We save time both in the fitting and welding. "The Liberator saved me so much time and grey hair. It's worth it!"

Voortman's software has CAD to create custom designs, CAM to nest, and CNC to automate operations. The software is compatible to almost all designs and profiles, and doesn't require an annual service agreement.

Because we care about making fabrication tasks smooth and efficient, this Robotic Coping and Profiling beam was created. It is capable of processing square tubes, channel bars, angle bars, square tubes, but also pipes, T-bars, plates, and bulbs. Our Coping and profiling robots can perform a wide variety of functions on your pipe cuts/profiles. They are an efficient tooling system with unmatched quality. These outputs may be H, T beams, U or L channels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Because of their shape, I beams resist vibration, yielding, bending and reflection. I beams can span nearly 100 feet and are lightweight. Buyers must inform the fabricator of the dimensions required for their project when ordering I beams.

The strength tolerances of the C-beam are lower than those of the I-beam. This results in lighter components. Continue reading if you have never used C-beam profiles. Let us walk you through the basics to help you decide if it is right for you.

Oscillating Power Tool. Coping is the best choice for any corners in the room. A coping saw could be used to accomplish the task, but an oscillating power instrument could make it easier.

Continuous: A beam that extends over more than two supports. Cantilever: A beam that projects from one end and is fixed at the other. The support on the opposite end of the beam is not needed. We will examine some classic beam loading examples. This simple beam has two supports and a centre load.

Price of 30 ft lvl beam: The average cost/price of LVL is $3-$12 per linear foot. For 30 ft. lvl beam price, 30x3 = $90, 30x12 = $360. This means that 30 ft. lVL beam, Laminated veneer lumber, or Engineered beam costs between $50 and $200 for materials, or between $90 and $360 for installation.
