The CNC Drill Line is able to lay out and drill holes in any steel profile in half the time it takes with a mag drilling machine.

Renishaw 5Axis Calibration – The calibration unit used is a Renishaw model APCA45 and a modified spherical pen. It has a retractable cover that can be removed and an air purge that will remove any dust or debris from the device during activation. It is mounted to a swingarm controlled by a pneumaticrotary. The device swings into calibration for calibration only.

Advantage-2 uses a variety of support clamps to ensure maximum rigidity through the machine. Carbide tool life can be extended by reducing vibrations as much as possible.

The CNC Beam Drill Line is a hit among small and medium fabricators, who can fabricate both structural steel as well as miscellaneous metals. The CNC Drill Line was first introduced in 2003 and has been used by more than 600 steel fabricators around the globe.

Z-Reader Probe-The Z-Reader Probe is a device that maps the location of the surface. It can be programmed or manually controlled. It can be disabled while cutting, and it can be pulled out of harm's reach. It can be activated to verify the surface at each pierce prior to cutting, or to drive surface mapping for the entire part before cutting begins. It is used to initialize or zero the device to the desired surface and then tracks or accumulates the difference between that zeroing effort.

Programming the CNC Drill Line program is simple even if done manually. Peddimat software is used to program the CNC Drill Line. Most operators can learn how most parts are programmed in under an hour. Of course practice makes perfect. However, it is easiest to program the machine from a CAD file. It is recommended that you use a 3D modeling software, such as StruMis or ProSteel 3D to create the CAD drawings. These files can then be imported directly into a machine. The operator just needs to select the part that is to be processed, and hit the Cycle start button.

AC Unit Installed on Electrical Cabinet – The unit is mounted on the cabinet’s High Power (480v) side. It is close to the location where the drives are mounted. This option keeps the cabinet temperature stable and allows heat dissipation faster. The servo drives for all axes are the most significant contributors to heat inside the electrical cabinet.

Which drill can I use to drill steel beams with? You can use drills made of high-speed steel (HSS), as mentioned previously. You can drill with a twist drill, core drill, or hole saw in the HSS, HSS-5, and tungsten carbide tool steels.
