Pet Food Ingredient Transloading J-Six Enterprises

Fairview Mills knows that pet food and ingredients are often cheaper to transport in bags than loose products. Fairview Mills is a J-Six Enterprises company. This means that we can transload your bulk pet food ingredients and bag them as per your instructions. This allows you to easily move your products from raw product into ready-to use pet food. Send us whole corn for example. We can unload it, mill and package it however we need. Your raw corn will now be ready for the next phase in the petfood processing industry.

THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

You want to ensure that your pet food ingredients are packaged in bags or totes. Each pet food ingredient is tested for moisture, nutrient loss, and other metrics in our analytical lab. Next, we vigorously sift your ingredients to get rid of as much dust and chaff. This helps improve the quality your pet food ingredients. Additionally, it ensures that a fifty-pound bag of pet food is full of your product and not with chaff. If you are able to trust that a bag of fifty pounds of corn flour is actually fifty, you will be able track inventory more accurately.

Fairview Mills strives to provide solutions for any pet food ingredient supplier that may be facing problems. Fairview Mills is committed to finding solutions that work for customers. This means we are able to handle your small-scale contract packaging needs. 50 Pound Bag - Perfect For Pallets

Clients looking for manageable, stackable bags of fifty pounds that can be handled individually or as a group are well-served by 50 pound bags. There are many options for construction material and sealing methods when it comes to these bags. Multi-wall papers bags are an ecofriendly alternative. They can be closed by pinching or sewing. You can choose from a variety of polyethylene bags or polypropylene bag styles, which can either be heat-sealed or sewn. The fifty-pound bags are for ingredient packaging only, and not as finished product packaging. The pet food ingredient packaging can be used for transport and storage.

1000 Pound Tote - Poly Lining!

It is helpful to have totes that can easily hold large quantities of pet food and ingredients. The 11,000 pound totes can be used for bulk storage and transportation of pet food ingredients. These totes have a poly-lined interior for strength and durability. The exterior fabric will not let even the smallest part of your pet food ingredients get lost because of the poly lining. These large capacity bags are meant for easy transport and storage, not for final product packaging. Before filling these large, one-hundred-pound bags with quality products, your pet food ingredients are run through our sifting equipment.

They can even stack super sacks on top each other because of their box-corner shape! Frequently Asked Questions

Dry pet foods are made by mixing dry and wet ingredients together to form a dough. In the extrusion process, the dough is heated under pressure, then pushed through a die machine that cuts the kibbles. Kibble size and shape varies according to the product specification. The kibbles are dried, cooled and spray coated.

While dry milling is less capital intensive, it also yields less ethanol per bushel of corn than wet milling (Rajagopalan, et al., 2005). Wet milling involves steeping the corn for up to 48 hours to assist in separating the parts of the corn kernel.

The pet industry comprises live animal purchases, pet food, pet supplies, pet services such as grooming and boarding, and vet care. Pet food and treats were estimated to make up the largest share of the market in the United States in 2021.
