    Latest Pet Food Milling News

    Pet food Milling

Fairview Mills also understands that it's often cheaper to store pet food and pet ingredients in bags than to transport them as loose, bulk products. Fairview Mills can transload and bag your loose bulk pet food ingredients. It is much easier to transport your products from raw product to ready to use pet food. For example, send us whole corn. We will unload it and mill it. Then, we'll package it in the way you want. The raw corn can now be used for the next step of the pet food processing process.

    THE FAIRVIEW MILLS TREATMENT

You want to ensure that your pet food ingredients are packaged in bags or totes. Our pet food ingredient packaging system includes running every pet food product through our lab to determine its moisture level, nutrient break down, and other metrics. Next, we vigorously sift your ingredients to get rid of as much dust and chaff. This process will improve the quality of pet food ingredients and ensure that your fifty-pound bag is completely filled with your product, not with chaff or dust. If you are able to trust that a bag of fifty pounds of corn flour is actually fifty, you will be able track inventory more accurately.
